Little Albert armchair, Ron Arad 2000
Little Albert armchair, designed by Ron Arad for Moroso Furniture,knows how show off by flaunting its impressive and yet original curves. The little Albert chair is avaialable in a choice of fabrics and leathers. There is also a fiberglass shining version of the little Albert .
The great success with the Victoria & Albert armchair encouraged Moroso to look deeper into the aspects analyzing the possibility to use new materials, maintaining the original shape of the product. The search for new materials have given way to a new approach through the creation of Little Albert; mass-produced obtained by a rotationally molded colored polyethylene. The shape of the armchair is the same, with the material changes. The resistance of the material makes it possible for the armchair to be used in closed and open environments. In fact, the plastic used is resistant to thermal shock as well as to sunlight. Little Albert is mass-produced, using the rotational technology, it is completely recyclable, and is colored.
